What other chats or communications did our National Security officials conduct on Signal or other unsecure platforms?
Malicious incompetence
BACKGROUND
See,
1) Tom Nichols, “The Trump Team’s Denials Are Laughable; The president’s officials must know that what they did in the Signal group chat was wrong—and dangerous,” The Atlantic, March 26, 2025 (3:26 pm).
2) Jeffrey Goldberg and Shane Harris, “Here Are the Attack Plans That Trump’s Advisers Shared on Signal; The administration has downplayed the importance of the text messages inadvertently sent to The Atlantic’s editor in chief., The Atlanric, March 26, 2025 (8:19 am).
3) James Rowles, “Now everyone knows the truth: Trump and Vance are Russian puppets,” Trenchant Observations, February 28, 2025
4) James Rowles, “UPDATED: Trump opens highly sensitive intelligence to anyone he wants, bypassing existing security clearance procedures,” Trenchant Observations, January 22, 2025.
Malevolent incompetence
Donald Trump on his first day in office issued a decree which granted the highest security clearance to anyone he named or who the White House Counsel added to the list, without any vetting. Elon Musk and his team, and pro-Russian Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, as well as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth presumably received such clearances—without vetting. Vetting :might have identified Hegseth’scdrinking oroblem and Gabbard”s pro-Russian and pro-Syrian actions and statements as problematical. Elon Musk represents a huge security risk because of his investments and Tesla operations in China, and this risk might have come up during vetting.
The biggest security risk, of course, is Donald Trump, who is reliably reported to be a Russian asset.
The mind-boggling incompetence of Pete Hegseth and others who participated in the Signal chat hours before U.S. military action against targets in Yemen is malicious because Trump nominated (and the Senate confirmed) demonstrably unqualified people like Hegseth and Gabbard to key National Security positions, with such disregard for their qualifications as to amount to malevolence.
Now we must demand truthful answers to the following question:
“What other chats on Signal or other unsecured platforms did these and other national security officials engage in?
