Unsubscribe? Note to readers: There is a war going on, as fateful as World War II
But please let me know if you don't want to receive the emails and articles
It is no fun being the constant chronicler of war developments and the bad news they sometimes portend.
But someone has to do it if we are to remain informed about what is happening in the world around us. Someone has to connect the dots and draw our attention to what is really going on behind the headlines. This is the only way we can respond wisely and seek to shape our future before our future blindly shapes us.
Yet some of us are deeply interested in the war and foreign affairs, and others, well, not so much. That is fine. We each have our different roles to play in this amazing life as it unfolds.
Not everyone needs to be interested in foreign policy. We just need a critical mass of people, and leaders who do have a duty to remain informed and—dare I say it?—to lead.
So, if you are someone who is not that interested in receiving emails with articles from the Trenchant Observations newsletter, please let me know and I will remove you from the subscription list. You may miss some great articles, but that is your choice. I don’t want to clog the inboxes of friends and readers who are not interested.
Just let me know.*
And if you like any of the articles, please let me know that, too. Feedback and criticism are invaluable to a writer. Already exchanges with readers have helped me understand issues better, and shown up in new articles.
